Scholarship Dinner – Saturday, March, 16, 2019


This year’s dinner will be held at the Ameristar Resort & Casino in Black Hawk, CO. We’d like to thank the Ameristar for generously helping underwrite some of the costs of the dinner.

Location: Ameristar Resort & Casino, 111 Richman St, Black Hawk, CO 80422

Tickets: $75 per person or $140 per couple.

Program: Your ticket or sponsorship includes a 3-course dinner (including bread, salad, entree, and dessert), plus wine with dinner. All guests are included in a door prize drawing for many great items donated by local businesses. You’ll also hear from past scholarship recipients about how they used their scholarships to pursue their college careers.

Scholarships: All money raised from the annual Scholarship Dinner is granted to graduating seniors attending post-secondary school (university, technical school, or community college). Since 2012, we have given out $24,500 in scholarships to Gilpin County students.

Denver Nuggets Community Night – Sunday, March 31, 2019

The Denver Nuggets are sponsoring a Community Night to support the Gilpin County Education Foundation. For every ticket purchased they will donate $4 to the Foundation.

Tickets are discounted ($44 for lower level and $20 for upper level) and every purchase includes a hat and VIP court side access before the game.


Golf Tournament – TBA

This year’s tournament was the largest ever with over 80 golfers. We raised nearly $20,000! Thank you to everyone who came out to play and support the Foundation!

Costs: Individual Registration is $125 per person. Registration forms will be available soon.

  • Green Fees for 18-holes
  • Golf Cart
  • Lunch
  • Awards for flight winners
  • Goodie Bag
  • Prizes for Longest Drive, Closest to Pin, etc.
